Pastor’s Conferences

Ever since the founding of PTPI (now Breadgate International) back in 1984, we have regularly arranged pastor conferences. This has happened in, for example, former Czechoslovakia, Poland and Romania. During the first years the conferences were held secretly, as was prohibited by law, especially with believers from the West. Also, in recent years, after the countries gained their freedom, we have arranged, with fairly regularity, pastoral conferences in both Poland and Romania.

For Poland, the most recent conferences were held in 2004 and as late as May 2010. In Romania, the most recent conference was held in October 2007. The conferences are much appreciated as the pastors do not have as many opportunities to meet in similar circumstances. The conferences then offer opportunities for both community and exchange of experiences, while at the same time listening to good spiritual teaching.

Over the years, we have received many testimonies that this teaching has been of vital importance in many people’s lives.

The work among pastors today
In recent years starting around 2020, we started supporting a Romanian based organization working mainly among lay pastors, called Asist International, based in Oradea. They work with a one year program targeting lay pastors and other spiritual leaders working in smaller rural congregations. Their aim is to equip these pastors to better biblical foundation in order to better serve their local church.
